YouTube Mobile Live Streaming Feature Can Be Used Now With 1000 Subscribers! 

Previously YouTube allowed users to go live in Mobile Live Streaming feature with 10,000 subscribers. In the new rule they reduced the threshold to 1000 Subscribers only.

Search engine journal first noticed the changed. YouTube didn’t announced it officially but it was found in YouTube’s help page.

Under the ‘Requirements for YouTube Live’ section, the company says that “confirm that your channel is verified and that you have no live stream restrictions in the last 90 days. Note: For YouTube live on mobile, your channels must have over 1,000 subscribers.”

This is same for Android & iOS.

How to use YouTube Mobile Live Streaming feature:

  • Go to the App, Tap on camera Button & Give all the necessary permission it will ask.
  • You will get the GO LIVE Option.
  • Anyone can find those videos via searching, recommendation.
  • Privacy policy is there also, no-one can steal & re-upload them.

Recently, YouTube released a special version of youTube targeted for India people by name YouTube Go. This was introduced last year and got tremendous response. So YouTube invested money on this app to make it user friendly.

“It’s relatable, with fresh and relevant video recommendations tailored to your preferences; the app is designed to be offline first and improve the experience of watching videos on a slower network; it gives you more control over data usage, by providing choice and transparency into the amount of data spent on streaming or saving videos,” Jay Akkad, YouTube product manager told.
