Jacquard: Google & Levi’s Smart jacket will cost $350

oogle ATAP and Levi’s partnered together to bring the first connected denim smart jacket using Jacquard Technology. The jacket is made up of conductive fabric which can respond to gestures like a mobile touch-screen and do as you instruct like pick a call, change song all by gesturing in your wrist.


Cool isn’t it? It will be up for commercial sale late this year at a price of $350. Levi’s never disappoints with their new introductions. This time partnering with Google ATAP.


Last year this project was announced at Google I/O developer conference in May 2016. The scheduled time of launching this product commercially is Spring 2017.
