India’s online Mobile selling retailers Amazon, Flipkart and SnapDeal are having a tough competitions. In the recent research it’s found that Flipkart is leading the way in smartphone market with 51% market share in recent November-December 2016. Amazon is behind Flipkart with 33% and Snapdeal being cornered with 13%. Well last year in June Flipkart was having a tough time loosing their ground to Amazon. Amazon was bagging al the top brands like Xiaomi, Apple, Motorola and Lenovo being their exclusive mobile launching platform. From there Kalyan Krishnamurthy of Flipkart’s category management function took the charge and started working hard to gain back their ground. Soon Flipkart got success gaining back some launches from Xioami, Motorola & Lenovo including Apple’s iPhone 7 launch in October which made the difference.

One single day for the Smartphone selling helped Flipkart to sell product worth Rs. 1,400 Crore. This helped Flipkart to Gain back the market from Amazon and become the biggest mobile selling retailer in India.
