Remember Samsung Galaxy Note 7? It doesn’t matter if you remember or not, but Samsung will definitely remember this as a ‘black mark’ of their history. GAlaxy Note 7 created a lot of buzz when the Note 7 were frequently ‘exploded’ while using. Samsung recall all the devices and now they are all set to sell the Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Earlier Samsung confirmed that, they will start selling the Note 7 but a ‘refurbished’ version soon at a cheaper price. Now a fresh report claims that Samsung is all set to sell the refurbished Note 7 in June.As per the reports, Samsung will sell the first 3,00,000 units in their home-country South Korea. The new units may be marked as the Galaxy Note 7R. where ‘R’ stands for refurbished.
Samsung reported earlier that, there were two main issues behind the Note 7’s batteries to explode. The one was in the batteries manufactured by the SDI division of Samsung and the second was in the batteries taken from Amperex Technology, a third-party battery supplier. When majority of users complained about the battery, Samsung finally had to take back all the devices from the market. The previous version of Note 7 had 3,500mAh of battery, while the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will have 3,000mAh or 3,200mAh bttery as per the rumours.
Just like the original Note 7, refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will have 5.7 inch Quad HD(1440×2560 pixel) dual edge Super Amoled display with additional Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device comes with two different high-end chipset depending on the market region. One variant is powered by octa-core Exynos 8890 processor, while the another variant has Snapdragon 820 under the hood. The 4GB Note 7 comes with a internal storage of 64GB. It also has 12MP of rear shooter with OIS and 5MP of front facing shooter.
At the time of launch Galaxy Note 7 was priced at KRW 988,900 in Korea (Rs 59,900 in India). But as per the report the Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be sold under KRW 700,000 (roughly Rs 39,900).
