Android 7.1.2 Nougat Is Rolling Out With New Features!

Android 7.1.2 Nougat is rolling out for the first batch. The devices which will receive the update first are:

Android 7.1.2


  • Pixel
  • Pixel XL
  • Pixel C
  • Nexus 6P
  • Nexus Player
  • Nexus 5X
  • Nexus 9
  • Nexus 6

Android 7.1.2 is probably the last update for Nexus 9 & Nexus 6 which were launched at 2014. This 2 devices won’t be getting Android O update.

Android 7.1.2 will have Google’s April security patch with several bug fixes & optimization. There won’t be any Ui change.

Features for Pixel XL & Pixel:

  • There will be a new feature of fingerprint gesture by which you can do some works.
  • Bluetooth connectivity will be strong.
  • Early Device shutdown bug will be solved.

Feature for Nexus 6P & Nexus 5X:

  • They will be also getting the fingerprint gesture feature by which you can perform certain works by gestures.
  • Minor Bug Fixes

Pixel C will have the Multi-window view feature after long waiting.

The update is rolling out via OTA & within 1 week it will reach to everyone.

Somedays back Google released it’s Upcoming Android Version Android O. They released beta versions for developers of Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X & Pixel devices to try on. Though the Android O name is not yet decided, we hope Google will announce it soon!
